Aha, cool. Does part of the test actually include intoxicated people?

Is there an alcohol limit in the US or is it zero tolerance? And do you deal with stuff like charlie and E and what do you look for?

Damn, I hit the quote button instead of edit. Sorry.

Unfortunately since my academy is on university property were alcohol is illegal no. The homicide detective who taught our class mentioned that his department does have class's that include volunteers who get drunk in various stages for the recruits to practice on and we could attend those class's.

The legal limit in the entire US for alcohol is .08 but a driver who registers below the limit can still be arrested for DWI (driving while intoxicated). Driving under the influence also incompasses legal/illegal substances so we have a set number of test that we administer which may eliminate alcohol but not drugs.

One of the main reasons this certification was a must pass class is because of all the legal ramifications that could happen if the field test were not performed properly thus leading to the case being dismissed on technicalities.

I can explain in more detail about the three test administered if needed.

I just got the quickest promotion in history. I applied for a part time job as a housekeeper (basically a cleaner) in a local hotel, just to tide me over until I go back to Uni in September, got a phone call this morning to tell me I've got it and then another phone call half an hour ago telling me that I'm now their receptionist.

They haven't even seen my CV, just a quick interview which I didn't think had gone well. They must be desperate.

I'll be at the front desk, probably making a mess of everything. They don't know what they've let themselves in for.

Good work, least you have a month or two to get settled in, before it becomes really busy with summer and all that.
