I certain percentage of luck will always play apart in a drivers race and those who do not believe in luck are fooling themselves, strictly my opinion though  .

Mm. Luck creates opportunities, smarts & wisdom allow you to take advantage of opportnities and skill turns that into success.

I know the difference thanks but a certain amount of luck plays in everything no matter what it is. I think you may be thinking my meaning is more along the lines that Jenson had more luck than skill or wisdom but that is not the case.

I don't think you noticed I agreed with you.

JB won chinese GP, was it luck again?? Yes it was, because I think every driver needs a little bit of luck to win in F1. Even if the driver has everything it needs to win they still need a little bit of luck to win. In this case JB second win in chinese was pure strategy and a demonstration of smooth as silk driving, the luck was when Nico Rosberg made a mistake at probably lap 20 that moved him to P1.

Button had bad luck today, as the safety car caused his considerable lead over most cars to shrink considerably. It's a pity he played silly buggers with the restart, as that reduces the quality of his win. But, he certainly wasn't lucky today.

WOW I'm impressed...Jenson Button... what a shot caller..

That single call gave him the win. Hmm.. You see, 10 years of experience and a little wiliness goes along way. I must say his race engineers seem to be working wonderfully with him too. But again... my boy Jenson is a real Gambler.. I said you couldn't win the lotto twice earlier in the thread, but It appears it's not a game of lotto.

China was luck, Australia wasn't. No one knew what was going to happen in China, whether it's going to rain more or not. In Australia the question was if the track is dry ENOUGH for dry tires and then Jenson's instincts payed off bigtime for him.

To make it clear, Button WON the race because he is a fantastic driver but the choice of not to put on new tyres was a lucky one
