Very interesting quali for sure.I can't believe McLaren and ferrari made this silly error,but we will all gain by watching an exciting GP with a bit of luck,watching them carve their way through the feild.Hopefully it will just be a drying track with no rain tomoz.Rain will equal the end of the race,the way it comes down there.

After the McLaren's went out I was willing Hulk to get the pole or even Petrov.Rosberg again looked good,doing his normal and beating Schu

If it's dry they'll put on slicks, not sure if they have to start on the same set of wet/inters if the weather conditions are similar though.

No - any rain in qualifying means the tyre rule is waived.

Exciting Quail, even if Jens went out early. As others have said, it should make for a great race tomorrow. As long as the fast guys at the back stay out of trouble on the first few laps, then anything could happen. And it would not surprise me to see both the Mclarens and Ferraris in the points.

I think we could see situations where some of the top drivers further back may be keen to try some "risky" but potentially productive tyre strategies. I.e. "throw the balls in the air and see how they land" kind of strategy. It's arguable IMHO that Webber did this in qualifying with the inters.

Me too - I was on the chat bemoaning the fact that the Mclarens hadn't gone out for a banker lap, even before it started to rain more heavily. They always do this - it's so risky and so unnecessary!

Thats it! Try a gamble in Q3 if you're slightly of the pace cos the worst you can do then is p10 and the prize is pole...but in Q1????? Jeez you've only got to get to Q2, why the heroics?
