do i personally think it was wrong? no i do that myself But my sis is a cop and said its actually against the law to accelerate too fast from a set of lights, even if you stop once you reach the speed limit.

Your sis is correct bud because even here in the states such a move can be deemed as either an exhibition of speed or considered drag racing.
