I have a 14 year old E34 5 series and love it to death. Bought it 2nd hand 4 years ago, and it's caused pretty minimal problems. Have a 3 year plan to get an E92 325i to keep my old grandpa car company.
To a question earlier, yes you can replace the RFTs (run flats) with regular tyres. I hang out quite a lot at BMW showrooms as I have a good friend who's a sales manager there. To any Malaysians out there, please stay away from any 3 series E90s that came out in 2006/2007/2009 because they have some problem or another!
The 2008 cars are winners, as the CBU units lucked out in the production cycle.

Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)
