I should hope you were too busy cheering the highly important first win of the Button/McLaren partnership

Must admit, I got a bit teary eyed come the Podium, just like Aus/Brazil (Not the Podium in the latter case, Parc Ferme) last year.
well I was sitting at the first corner so ran to the podium to get a good spot! Will post pics when I get home :D

I wasn't sure whether it was the prime minister of Victoria or the winner of the race for not being Mark Webber.
I noticed they didn't boo John Travolta. Is that because he's associated on the big screen with their beloved ONJ(not really ozzie but they consider her theirs)?

yes it sure does but usually it's about half for the person and half against, or maybe 40/60/ but not enough haters percentage wise to hear universal booing like that. What I mean is there's always the group that like the bloke. You don't often see the whole crown in agreement about hating the guy.
Then again over here no one that high up would present at an F1 event.

think its an Aussie thing to dislike authority figures like Pollies, the guys booing probably also voted for him as voting is compulsory.
