This is a comment someone has made on Jake Humphrey's blog - I agree with every word.

What a race. Well worth getting up for.
There were a few things that occurred to me with this race. Lewis sounded naive, inexperienced and petulent. On the radio he expressed surprise that the drivers in front of him didn't have to stop again. Now he should be aware of strategies and permutations; he shouldn't be surprised by things like this. Does anyone think that Schumacher, Prost, Senna or Alonso wouldn't have the whole gamut of strategies in their heads? It was his responsibility to try his best to make his strategy work. He should have known that with Jenson in front with track position and better able to make his tyres survive, and that McLaren were splitting the strategies to give him - a man harder on his tyres but driving the best I've ever seen him - the chance on fresh tyres to catch and pass the Ferraris. He shouldn't complain about this strategy call and he definitely shouldn't criticise the team over the radio.
Last year he seemed to have learned humility but this year he again seems, as I said, petulent.

Lewis wasn't the only one caught out, Barrichello did the same thing too, hence why he fell behind Liuzzi and had to re-pass De La Rosa, so I think it shows even the most experienced drivers can get a little caught out. :P

But this site is just typical anything this guy does gets jumped on its getting boring to read and come on here to be honest.

Same thing happens with Alonso and Schumacher - get over it!

I disagree with your opinion there Scotty!

Oh and  there you go

Hmm, afraid not - it's clearly fact, certainly in Hamilton and Alonso's cases, i have to read enough posts on this forum and therefore have seen it blatantly in action many times!!!

I've missed you crazy kids...

Would just like to point out that I stated over a year ago, on this very site, that Alonso was the best driver on the track (despite his crappy car) and that Lewis was a reckless baby. Then I was shouted out of the room by the McLaren homers... I win again.

See you guys in a long while... unless we keep winning, then I'll be back to antagonize the Silver Surfers some more.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton has put a stop to any controversy surrounding his criticism of the team over their race strategy at the Australian Grand Prix.

Hamilton, who finished sixth, felt the decision to pull him in for a second pit stop cost McLaren a one-two in a race won by team-mate Jenson Button.

But he told lewishamilton.com on Monday: "The team explained their reasoning behind the second stop.

"I can understand what they were trying to do."

"We are still learning about this year's tyres and the degradation, and perhaps we over-estimated the wear that the frontrunners were expecting to suffer," said Hamilton.

"It's something you learn from, and we'll use that knowledge to help us improve throughout this season.""

Hamilton was otherwise delighted with his performance, adding: "My race was awesome. I really enjoyed it. I drove one of the hardest races I've ever done.

"I think it was a very clean race - I had some fantastic battles, made some passes and showed good pace. It's the sort of race I love."

Hamilton was also full of praise for reigning world champion Button, who drove a superb race to claim his first grand prix victory since joining McLaren from Brawn GP (now rebranded as Mercedes).

"As soon as Jenson finished in the press conference, I went down to see him and I gave him a big hug," said Hamilton.

"You can't take anything away from his drive - it was faultless, and he thoroughly deserved the victory.

"Every win is special: you always love to win, but if it can't be for me, then I want it to be my team-mate.

"It's good to see the team celebrating Jenson's win - victories are very important for our team because they not only bring everyone closer together, but they also help validate the work we're doing and the approach we're taking.

"After a difficult 2009 season and our regrouping over the winter, I think the win in Australia will make the whole team a lot stronger."

Here is another unbiased and objective article for you guys to read.

I like this author. Very logical and clear reasoning.

Podmore wouldn't know solid journalism if Ewan hit him over the head with it. It's conjecture & opinion, not logic & reason.

When read by an indifferent reader, or better yet, someone who doesn't know or care about F1, that article is far from unbiased and objective. It reeks of bias. When read by a blind Lewis sheep, it appears fair and balanced.
