Another story where people get all fired up over nothing. He clearly was not saying what his worst haters, who have hated him forever, are saying.

Why should one dislike a driver just because he said don't watch it if you don't like it? If one already dislikes Alonso, one's bias would make this an excuse to look at him with more disfavour. One who is indifferent toward him will not have a problem with it. It's not like it's the first time anyone said it. Yes his income would be less if there were fewer viewers, but I think he DOES know that and doesn't care if his income were to drop from reduced viewership. It's the whole censorship thing. Viewers don't have the right to ask the p0rn channel to please put clothes on the girls. They do have the right to change the channel. So why do we think we can tell bernie what to put in his show? If we don't like it, are we watching just so we have something to complain about?

Don't read too much into it as it's being blown out of proportion. I have never liked Alonso simply because something about him rubs me wrong, great driver yes but that is as far as my belief/support in him lies.

Every great driver has his floors, but as i said it's the colour of the car that makes you love him more. You love Schumi through and through for not only his greatness but also his flair and will. I love him due to being Ferrari's number one.

They hate him due to being morwe succesful than others or some other reasons....

Everyone has there reasons, i have always loved Kimi & Fernando.....
So being accepted into Ferrari was just the cherry on top for me

I predict there will be very few exciting races this season. Melbourne, SPA and Brazil have been good but we'd be lucky to have more exciting races this season
