I can't see Schumacher being faster than Lewis yet. He needs some time to get comfortable in the seat. Maybe if Mercedes improves and the season is in mid-way we can talk about these two competing. But if they predict rain, anything can happen. Vettel is always strong with rain and Lewis has shown signs of strenght in rain also. Still I'd put my money on Alonso rather than Massa.

Schumacher is the rain master and I think he is comfortable enough to compete with anyone on the grid, the car is the biggest question imho. As far as the race is concerned I think it will be the simple matter of how one qualifies that will be the biggest factor. Lets not forget that both Mercedes and McLaren had to change their diffusers and although this is not a high speed track there is no telling how said changes will effect the overall performance of either teams cars.

Regardless of how it plays out and ends I'll have a great weekend anyway because I watched F1 :clap::thumbup: .

They had to change their diffusers so there's practically no way they can be faster than before.

Really?

I got your idea wrong, I read out that maybe it could have been a positive change :D

I do have to agree, from the wonderful Ferrari seasons of literally dominating, but we also have the new Rain Master number 2. Vettel which has proved himself, But Schumacher could potentially be on the podium.

Hmmm lets see Vettel has won a single rain soaked race and in no way should be considered a rain master compared to Schumacher who has won how many wet races, obviously more than one :wink: .

Schumacher for the win :yes::clap::D

He's won two hasn't he?

Anyway, I hope Schumacher is the quickest in the rain but just because Vettel hasn't been in many wet races yet doesn't mean he's not a class act in those conditions.

think people are forgeting Japan 07, Silverstone 08 and Monza 08 as to who is a rain master, Hamilton, Schui and Vettle are all very good wet weather drivers.

Hamilton....Sutil, So many drivers are good in the rain. So why put them into categories, Alonso could all of a sudden be brilliant and take the win? Massa might shine through and take the win!! Glock might have the right set up and win!!! Unpredictable! That's what make F1 amazing! :cloud9:

Well its what makes f1 in the rain amazing.

If the McLaren is lacking in downfoce I think that'd have a pretty big impact on wet weather preformance?

At any rate the Ferrari drivers seemed very happy with the cars performances in rain pre-season.
