Not many details yet. One pilot bailed but has two broken legs. One managed to land the aircraft and another did the same but the aircraft has a damaged tail. Wonder what happened? They have an excellent record.

A bird hit one of the planes? Could be enough to cause a collision when they're as close as they are.

Yeh if it spooked a pilot or hit a control surface hard enough.

Wow so I guess my amateur/training guess was completely wrong! Sounds like the opposite of what I thought.
That crash looks horrible, good thing the pilot is ok.
