It's been a while since I watched a McLaren v Ferrari war on here, although this one was kinda unusual.

I don't see whats wrong with supporting Ferrari and McLaren, maybe it'll support McLaren just to wind up the other McLaren supporters.

You guys need to get over this rivalry thing. It wouldbe pretty hypocritical of me to stop supporting Ferrari just because I support McLaren now too. After all, I supported Ferrari long before I could even put up with McLaren. It's not Hamilton or Alonso, Button or Massa, Woking or Maranello. There are no villains between these teams. Only drivers I have an active dislike for are Rosberg and Vettel, only team I actively dislike is Toro Rosso (But just the management - I do kinda wish Force India had stayed Spyker though). Call it blasphemy if you will, but Dogma is the purest form of lunacy.

It's just a bit of fun, I love a good rivalry between teams, whether that's Ferrari/McLaren, Federer/Nadal, Red Sox/Yankees, Celtic/Rangers, Oxford/Cambridge etc. It just adds to the drama for me. Nobody actually demands that you pick a side, it's just a general convention among F1 fans.

Completely agree, you have to have it to make the season more exciting. Soon it will be Ferrari V McLaren V Mercedes V Red-Bull.

But the Mika V Schumi scenario was awesome and this season it will be Alonso V Hamilton

You've got a point there, bad example. It's a rivalry that's far too intense and has more to do with politics and religion than it does with the sport. Scratch that one of the list.

Thing is it makes it more exciting. If there was no rivalry then we wouldnt be on here? Racechick would just support anyone? I have to dislike Lewis or we would just agree! Bud + Gaz would have no corneres to battle if Ferrari wern't so wrong all the time and fighting the press + Fans like me keep on there side and make you guys mad in which makes you watch the sport even more! just to rub in my face that McLaren have won and vise versa. It's a sport and is built on adrenaline and crazy men that drive cars to the limits! I'm red your silver! & thats what F1 is a bout! I want the Number 1 on Alonso's car for 2011 not McLaren! it's what makes us jump @ a overtake! And smash the air with a fist when we are overtaken! A Beautiful rivarly that should carry on when my Son is born and is wearing his little ferrari suit! & Screaming com'on Alonso/Massa  If this was not true then the papers would rip our sport up a little more! & then it would be a boring turtle race.

I wouldnt just support anyone. It comes to me and thats who i support. I dont choose them they choose me. Before Lewis it was Juan Pablo, before that Damon Hill. There were wilderness years between them. If not Lewis, who? Possibly Massa.Possibly Webber. Possibly Senna. I would just find myself supporting them. But yes. we need a little good naturedrivalry.

sounds like a cat :)

I support Ferrari above everybody. If there is another driver I like, like Michael Schumacher, he will always come second to Ferrari for my support. :)

Opposite to me. For me I'm more passionate about the drivers. :)

But you see the point i make, you have to have a passion for a team. Like AKR me & her have a passion for Ferarri. For the fact they have a symbol for Racing. & they stand for somthing like McLaren or Hamilton does for you.
