Whats been said is scratchy but Mclaren are gunning for Ferrari and the MP4-12C pretty much compares with the Ferrari 458 Italia, costing around £150,000
But they are also going to do a "baby mclaren" aimed at the 911 costing between £60-80k
Speculative Renders Here:

And apparently there's going to be a 3rd model but i've not heard much about it, but since they have done a sporty-supercar (baby Mac) then a super car (12C) i expect they'll go for the Ferrari 599 and do a GT style car.
I was just following up on the MP4-12C and the road division about what they intend to make as a car company. Does anyone have any details beyond the MP4-12C? They will have a bespoke 3.8 liter twin turbo kicking out 600 hp, but!! it will blow everything comparable out of the water on CO2 emissions and with its super light weight. I heard they were going to build 4000 cars a year, but only 1000 to be the MP4-12C. What are the other 3000 cars? If that engine is good and reliable, it will rival the BMW's new M3 V8 on emissions.
Ron is lucky because he can build his engine division on newest and latest fuel efficient technologies without having to retool a factory.
That makes me remember he was offering to buy the BMW F1 engine manufacuting facility. Is that still on?
