I'm going to be in London at that time and stay at a hotel. So first of all you could give me some local channels which SHOULD be in a hotel TV also and another question is if the race is early in the morning? I'm really looking forward to watch a GP with great English commentators

BBC1 (1 on terrestrial and FreeView, 101 on Sky and FreeSat) is the channel that shows F1. As for times, you're looking at early AMs.

FP1: 01:30 - 03:00
FP2: 05:00 - 07:30
SP: 03:00 - 04:00
Q: 06:00
R: 07:00

If you have access to a TV with Sky or FreeSat, the practice sessions can be viewed on the Red Button service. If you're lucky enough for Freeview, I think 301 or 302 show the sessions. If it's none of those, the only other way to view them is online. Coverage of qualifying and the race will start 50 minutes before the times I've listed. :)

You have plenty to look forward to :P

1. Eddie Jordan talking gobshite.
2. Jonathan Legard shouting "JOINS THE BATTLE!!! ON A CHARGE!!! etc"
3. Brundle's gridwalk.
4. Lee McKenzie - but they never show enough of her...

your in for a treat then, best coverage in the world. :D

Best and most comprehensive if you have access to the net or red button don't forget to watch the F1 forum after the BBC get good interviews with the top team principals and drivers.

Eek, looks like I'll either be running late for the Liverpool FurMeet if I choose to go back to bed after the Quals. Ah well, it's a risk worth taking.

I think Vettel could win, but i also hae a strong feeling Schumi will do pretty good here. Alonso will be 3rd

Are we going to have another bore fest like Bahrain?

Who's gonna win?

Personally i think we'll see alot more excitement and we'll see Stronger performace from Mclaren.

Stronger performance from McLaren, a bit slower than Ferrari maybe, but definitely an exciting race. Bahrain is a dull track also, last year was a borefest but Oz was just great, we'll see.

I think the gap in Q wont be so large considering the teams have the track data in the bank compared to the new layout in Bahrain that caught a few teams out.

And being Melbourne weather the race will probably be rained out one minute and 30 degrees the next

I wouldn't mind a wet race after Bahrain.
#190152
Is rain actually likely? I can't remember ever seeing a wet race in Melbourne, maybe one quali session or something.

Webber to win, i hope anyway. :) I have a feeling it's going to be Vettel vs. Alonso though, Massa has always been dodgy here.

03 was wet dry wet dry damp dry dry dry.. Even if its not wet Melbournes weather sucks. One minute you want to put a jumper on the next you want to just have shorts n t shirt.
