Is this true, I read an old copy of F1 Racing the other day and found that he had basically copyrighted his image? So you can't display photos of him in games/magazines without prior permission!!

its true marco. loads of famous people trademark their image because the can get money from it.

yeah..for examples, in F1 97, there was just the profile instead of his photo, and he was called " Number one", or something like this...precious boy...
