According to Norman, some 3,000 shipwrecks have been discovered and mapped in the Baltic, but experts believe more than 100,000 whole and partial wrecks litter the sea bottom.

That's awesome. Not awesome that people died but awesome that so many wrecks were found.

I bet there's just as much lost treasure at the bottom of the sea amongst all of the wrecks too.
