Autosport all have their predictions in for who will finish top 5, in the WDC and WCC. They've made an average of everyone's predictions, and Alonso is tipped to be WDC, with Lewis close in 2nd. Vettel and Massa in 3rd and 4th, a fair bit further behind, whilst Schumacher in 5th.

Button and Webber were 6th and 7th with not much love. Whilst Rosberg didn't get a single vote.


Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if that's how the championship will finish.

Whoever's 8th in the championship is going to be pretty damn cheesed off.

Exactly, DC was saying for anyone driving a race winning car, 8th is a disaster season. Even though everyone in that top 8 are great drivers.

Hmm, they do have the shortest car on the grid. Although it's still hard to believe. Really they would have to run less revs to make sure they save enough fuel to finish the race.

Wheelbase length is often seen primarily as a factor in how the car suits fast or slow turns. The common assumption that shorter cars go better around slow tight bends and longer cars go best in longer fast turns. This proves to be largely false, the difference in the longest to shortest cars is only a few percent, certainly not enough to substantially change the cars ability to corner around the hairpin at Monaco. Indeed Monaco proves to be no litmus test for wheelbases as longer cars have frequently won there. I am told that wheelbase changes by a few percent, affect lap times in just thousandths of a second.
