After a successful partnership that has taken Lewis from karting champion to F1world champion with 3 years Mclaren contract in his pocket, Lewis and Anthony are going their own way. Anthony will continue to support him obviously, but just as a dad. Its something they've both been thinking about for a while. Anthony is busy with GP prep and other drivers(Paul di Resta). The time just feels right for both of them. Anthony will guide Lewis is his choice of new manager but there is no rush. Lewis feels well looked after by folk at McLaren.

We all knew this day would eventually come and it seems Lewis and Anthony did aswell. They seem to have a very positive outlook towards it so I say good deal for both of them and all the best.

no, just that whenever flavio is talked about the pic turns up so I thought I would beat everyone else too it.

As for Flavio being a bad manager, I think he has a dodgy past when you start looking into it (I am talking pre Piquet)

He was only letting young drivers test the Renault/Ben unless they signed for his management company... that is almost as good a buy a PC but you have to buy Windows

not defending him but everybody gets to the top by tramping on somebody else somewhere along the way. thats the way it is. you may only buy that car if you use those tyres ?? same thing. its policy. every corp has it. I am willing to bet even you may have ghosts in your cupboard. people need to learn how to separate the person from what qualities they have. good or bad. Flav has his good points.

If we are being serious why not? I never disliked Flavio until his true character was shown, he may be a very good manager of drivers but I think he has lost the plot when it comes down to being a team manager.

Anyway this is all irrelevant to the main discussion/topic of this thread, maybe a "Does Flavio suck, Yes or No" poll should be started ??

Thats a quality as you say Tex. he's good at managing drivers. thats all that matters. I couldn't care less if he likes to walk about naked on his boat whenever. thats not important. Surely i dont like the crap he got up to with PK. I'm not even interested in whether he was really involved in the issue at all. Thats PK's part in all that jazz. maybe we should go for that "does Flavio suck" thread..
