Not a big deal at all.
bud wrote:Just wait; if McLaren take the first race in 1-2 fashion, formal protests will be launched, then it will be found legal and it'll appear on the Red Bull and Ferrari the next race. I can't see there being an issue with legality as McLaren are one of the most experienced teams out there, I'm sure they checked with the FIA bureaucrats constantly about the design.Cubejam wrote:There's no protest. Of course if copying it in a hurry isn't that easy, then the FIA must deam it illegal because McLaren cannnot be allowed to win. Good idea Redbull dragged Ferrari into this. That way if it needed to be banned, then Todt can do just that.Ferrari are not invovled Mclaren have spoken to them and its turned out its just RBR stirring it.

But 6mph is a big advantage especialy in Bahrain with its 3 straights

Gaz follows McLaren and I Ferrari yet we always have a laugh no matter how much we give it to each other's teams.Gaz wrote:typical AKR logicAKR wrote:It's just a rear wing. Doesn't look to dissimilar to any of the others.......

Gee I can't believe I just defended McLaren.

So I guess its the same principle to produce more downfoce that Ferrari are rumoured to be using for their DDD (only Ferrari have a slit on the diffuser itself).if that slit is what makes the difference, then it should be easy to copy thus Redbull should drop the bullpoo.
