Some strong laptimes this morning.

Top 4 predictably McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull & Mercedes.

    1 Hamilton McLaren 1m20.472s
    2 Massa Ferrari 1m20.539s +0.067
    3 Vettel Red Bull 1m20.667s +0.195
    4 Schumacher Mercedes 1m20.745s +0.273

Maybe McLaren are better than we thought and Mercedes are not as far behind as we believed.

Speak for yourself,i knew McLaren were at the top along side Ferrari and Red Bull & Mercedes.

Well your teams drivers were not so sure but you are clearly more in the know than they are.

Felipe Massa is also on a long run but is eight tenths off Hamilton as things stand. :yikes:

No, one of them was not so sure and that was button.

This weekend was always going to show the true colours of McLaren especially as they have been testing with bigger fuel loads than Ferrari and Red Bull. :yikes:

On another note

Lewis Hamilton is 20 laps into a race simulation for McLaren and is lapping around a second quicker than Jenson Button did in his race sim on Saturday.

Felipe Massa is also on a long run but is eight tenths off Hamilton as things stand.

I can actually imagine you exploding if Hamilton wins the WDC if you get this worked up about testing.

Who said i am worked up,i am just enjoying it like many others.

My team is doing okay and i am happy, you have a problem with that?

I don't really have a problem with it, I was just commenting.

At any rate - err I think I just said you were worked up, mainly based on the aggressiveness with which you've made many posts.

Also:
BBC F1 analyst Martin Brundle: "I'm not sure we will know the answer on true 2010 form until the end of the first race in Bahrain. But even then, we are still not going to be able to say 'here's the form book for the year' because different circuits, different temperatures, different types of tarmac and tyre compounds will make things variable throughout the season. Having said all of that, what's absolutely clear is that right now Ferrari are the best in terms of good pace and reliability, and their tyre management seems strong. Next up is probably Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes with Williams and Sauber hustling behind."

I'm, and I think inluke is as well, using this link to follow: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 540782.stm

Its only testing anyways and many teams in the past have had good testing times only to falter during the actual racing. Only after the first race will we know who has a faster package.

The chat room should be very lively this season :D .

Things are looking good but still the Mclaren is not as fast as I wish it to be!

Ineluke, Hamiltons really is 0.8 second ahead on race pace?!! Jesus christ!

I need to calm down! :drink:

I hope he does another low fuel run at the end of the day!
