Your YouTube video is not showing up and I did not realize it was posted until I wanted to reply;

My entire class liked the new cut as almost 50% of them are jailors and have the same cut :hehe: . It actually induced a very slight smile from my academy's head instructor today which was a sign of approval as he is SUPER HARDCORE law enforcement.

Thanks mate :) . It is really starting to sink in now that I'm only 8 weeks away from graduating and hopefully my initial application will go well with the dept I am applying with next week. Thanks for all the kind words and support.

Thats awesome man and I'm certain you will learn to love it :D and they will pay for your education aswell :thumbup: . If you decide on a career in law enforcement after, unless your career up, your a shoe in yet if you career up you will be able to retire at an age most people can only dream about.

I just returned home from the ASP Baton class and man am I sore and my chest will be black and blue tomorrow!! Talk about a great workout and we also learned some very persuasive self-defense techniques. All the mechanics or arrest and wrist/arm locks we have learned along with the baton are non-lethal defense techniques because the final tech is deadly force ie our firearms.

Riv I'm proud of you man you are doing something that I as a future police officer can truelly understand and appreciate :clap::drink: , stay safe above all.

well done mate. I have a lot of respect for people like Tex and yourself who are willing to put your life on the line for the greater good. There is not many of us around. I have been in the British armed forces for 13 years and I still love it every day.

:thumbup::yes:

When any person from anywhere in the world joins their military or law enforcement departments they are putting their countries and citizens well being above anything else. I commend anyone and everyone who makes such a sacrifice.

There are ALOT of good cops out there but the few bad ones tarnish the entire community in the publics eye, that is the true crime :yes: . One thing I have learned is that the haters are the first ones to dial 911 :wink: .

Anywho thanks for the support DD (that is how I'm gonna take it, in a positive manner :wink: ).

I just wish you walk into this with eyes wide open - there are plenty of bad apples and corruption reigns supreme. Just remember, in many countries it's the norm that cops are on the take or do worse.

I don't think thos guys start out bad, but dealing with the dregs of society will effect their outlook and the use of violence and revenge becomes the norm. Which results in things like the video's.
