Compare, what USF1 did compared to Litespeed(Lotus) did. Employed Mike Gascoyne a well known F1 guy who has a lot of drive and knows what he wants. Gazza then pulled in all the people he rated from Toyota (including Trulli) and Renault. I know from experience that the type of person that Gascoyne is he will get a lot of loyalty from people he works with and they have all answered his call.
USF1 on the other hand from the stories going around could not/would no delegate and decision making processes outside the top 2 men who had how much F1 experience?
Yep, he's an excellent manager and was doing quite well at Toyota when they wrongly gave him the axe for not agreeing with their japanese boardroom mentality.
I loved his work at Jordan, he almost took Frentzen all the way with minimal resources, that takes a f*ck load of skill and effort.
