I hope Stefan GP finally get a spot in the grid. They seem to be ready and determined, and they'd bring Jacques Villeneuve + tons of canadian F1 fans back to F1 :)

I do worry about USF1 dragging this out, using up their 3 race grace period and then calling it quits, will Stefan GP still be ready to jump in at the fourth race?

In my eyes USF1 aren't wanted on the grid any more. They're a pathetic excuse for a team. Management mainly. Give the slot to someone capable! please FIA!
Think to the future... and where is USF1's future? If they cant handle this season how are they going to handle the next????????

This is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport FFS. Give the slot to a competent team already, even Lotus have got their act together in a far, far shorter period of time than these idiots have had to prepare.

I'll remind you that USF1 is the only team to start with absolutely nothing, all of the other new teams had to develop a new car sure, but they already had most of the facilities and team existing. USF1 really cannot be compared to any of the other new teams, what they are doing is a much bigger undertaking.

To be honest I believe that argument is null and void as USF1 has had a much longer lead time so had plenty of time to develop their facilities, it does seem like a massive lack of organisation, it seems they didn't think through their plans thoroughly. My personal opinion is that all teams participating in the 2010 F1 season should be on the grid for the first race or forfeit their place. Especially given the news that USF1 have asked the FIA to make a special rule for them to miss the first four races.

Yeah, you've got a journalist at the helm, something is wrong.

They had exactly the same amount of time as everyone else, the new teams were all announced at the same time so how can you argue that USF1 had more time? Would you throw millions of dollars into building facilities if you were not 100% sure you would be accepted?

Yeah, you've got a journalist at the helm, something is wrong.

He worked as the general manager for Ferrari and the team manager for Williams, hes no Ross Brawn but the guy knows F1.

Honestly I don't know why I even bother anymore.

The team doesn't deserve the spot on the grid anymore. They had a pretty long time to establish themselves out there, and they simply didn't make it. That's it. FIA should now definitely let Stefan GP in, because they do seem to be ready. Because with USF1, they ain't going nowhere now.

Every time I hear the USF1 4-Race Delayed Start story, I raise a mental objection to 1 key point:

Why would funding be triggered at the news of a delay that was not in place before?

Perhaps it's just BS spin to buy themselves more time... which would certainly fit in with some of their past actions.

I know they started with nothing which is fair enough, but noises about USF1 started as early as 2008 - and look how little they still have to show for it!
