I predict Alonso or Webber getting a better laptime in the end of the session. Is that the fastest time anyone's gone in Jerez during tests right now?

It's the fastest time of the Jerez tests and remains so, Alonso is sixth

But no need to get excited anyway! Jenson got a full warm and sunny day :yes:

The car is definitely going to go much faster with those types of temperatures. Hamilton still has the upper hand in time difference in similar conditions. Which is the basis as I stated before. Jenson's last test was too far out condition wise. We just have to wait till Hamilton and Jenson BOTH get sunny runs. It's all in the proper assessment of the data. Don't jump the gun! :wink:

We're not really saying the time is significant, we're just enjoying the amusement that Jenson has gone and set a much quicker time than Hamilton - forgive me - but have Jenson and Hamilton ever driven in the same car in the same conditions yet? Or are the conditions only a valid reason for different times when it is Hamilton behind. I was trying to point out the different track conditions and you said it wasn't worth 0.7s,

Encouraging to see Jenson posting a fast time in the new Mclaren!!!!!! Can't wait till the new season begins. I just hope Lewis is mature enough not to banzi Jenson when their competeing on track, because I get the feeling their going to be pretty near each other for at least the start of the season. (then obviously Jenson will be pulling away :wink:
