Hmm, the VR-01 isn't looking too bad today.

Well I hope my prediction isn't wrong. My one prediction last year when I first saw the photos of the Red Bull wasn't bad.

Yer, i have not been too impressed with the car if i am to be honest. In this sport short money and cut backs won't save his 2009 lucky jacky pot!

Rubbish, Red Bull have yet to have a proper dry run of tests, unlike most of the others. At least they have a dry day today. The whole point in testing is to make sure the car is reliable and they have the kinks sorted, I reckon they have a strong championship contender.

And Alonso goes fastest!!

..... Now Button then Webber Alonso

Good for button - at least hes getting some proper running now.

Overall though, I think Alonso looks a lot quicker and more consistant than Massa but whether this is true I don't know.

I am on about Virgin. Not RB. I am impressed with RB :)

Ah, yes, Virgins CFD only design is a flop. Lotus is running rings round them. I read in Autosport that they are targeting points

Ferrari and Wlliams are doing race simulations. Long stints and quick pitstops.
I think Mercedes are as well.

So by the end of this we might get a decent picture, comparing times and runs.

Not really.

Mark Hughes pointed out that where Ferrari may do a 40 lap run, and still have 100kg left in the tank. McLaren may do the same 40 lap run and only have 50kg left in the tank. In this case McLaren would appear to be faster, when its in fact not the case. So really, no one knows nothing.

I mean, STR did something like a 15 lap stint that was faster than 15 lap stint Ferrari had done. But we know that's not really the case.

So it was dry all day today. That's a pretty big gap between Webber and Alonso... :scratchchin: I can't remember what the autosport page said about the runs they were all doing though.

Some people were doing short runs in the last 15 minutes but a red flag interrupted it all.
