Same here and I agree. Did you notice that some of their highways are made of red tarmac? Weird...

I think that's an attempt to attract tourists Dali. In Texas it's the main part of "our ever changing scenery". Bit of black... bit of red... etc.

Never mind Texasmr2, Dubya has adopted Texas as his "birthplace", a fact for which Kennebunkport and the State of Maine will obviously be forever grateful, so I admit that Texas is not a total waste of space. The fact that he is deathly afraid of cows and horses is perhaps an opportunity to invite him to feed your chickens and throw some sh*t around, he'd probably excel at that sport.

I hope you know we are just pulling your leg Texasmr2. Actually, I'm impressed that you made the effort to get out of the US and see a bit of the world. I spent a few years in my younger days hitching around Europe and the only other hitchers one was ever likely to meet were Brits and Americans, with the occasional Canadian and German thrown in for good measure. I count those years as some of the most valuable of my life and I'm sure you would agree with that sentiment. Congratulations on having the balls to dive into the unknown. If more Americans had the same impulse to see diverse cultures, perhaps the world be a safer place.
