cant anybody say anything positive and applauding about somebody other than a Mclaren driver and not have every word raped and broken apart by the usual idiots

nope, this is a McLaren stronghold. You'll get used to it

It wasnt when I first started, I had my fair share of strife from the red brigade.
Lets not get personal with the idiot talk, keep it to discussing drivers.
I think Massa is ace and hope he whups Alonso's arse-there you go, something positive about a non McLaren driver :)

I think Alonso did do well, he looked very settled and his comments etc indicate he is very happy with the car. At anyrate lets get back on topic - i'd like force india to make a good improvement from last season. I'd like the fia to stop making stupid rules

Depends how good the Ferrari turns out to be.

Nonsense. We all know most of the cars are going to be quite reasonably equal this yr. It has been for the past few yrs (minus the Brawn illegal car period), i'm sure it'll be this yr as well. MAYBE the Ferrari is a little bit better than the others..... he'd still have to not beach it on the pit entry, not attempt a kamikaze pass on turn 1 and ruin your championship race, don't run over a car on the pit exit, don't ruin podiums by over driving etc etc etc...

oh please he isn't a rookie, Like he even commented, he thanked Felipe for doing all the setup work, and with Alonsos experiences what you're applauding as Demi god impressiveness is fetching!

So Massa drove the car for him???
EVERYBODY sets the car different... even if Massa by himself gave the initial set up, there must have been something changed, or something not 100% ideal. And still, he had to make the drive and Massa wasn't the only one settig the car up, there's the engineers you know. Again, it was obviously a team effort... it is a team effort right now for all the teams. There's very limited testing opportunities and i doubt any driver came up with their set ups all by himself.

Demi god impressiveness?
 Get real. Everybody's down played the meaning of group testing session #1.... it's like the first day of class:
Some can't even find the classroom. Others are there on time, bring their books, already read lesson 1... they bring all their colored pencils, a neat notebook....

I think Massa is ace and hope he whups Alonso's arse-there you go, something positive about a non McLaren driver

well... it's a start
:D

(minus the Brawn illegal car period)

The Brawn (and, indeed, all other multi-deck diffuser cars) were legal.

They were legal-ized. But boy... it was a genius solution.

I hope Virgin are the best of the new teams, and I'd like to see Alguersuari, Di Grassi and Senna all perform well.

And Massa as WDC!

Not a big fan of Virgin, though. Kind of doesn't make sense because I'd like Di Grassi to do well but I don't like his team. :|

I like the Virgin car, looks very good, like Glock and want Di Grassi to do well.
But hate Branson, so don't want Virgin to do well.

:nono: F1EA must work for the FIA so what he's saying must be true.

Yes, exactly. It's one of the best-looking cars. Hopefully Glock and Do Grassi do well. But so far Branson's character hasn't impressed me at all, to state my opinion in a uh... civilized manner, I suppose.
