Is it just me, or does anyone else feel old knowing that the infamous battle between Villeneuve and Schumacher (a race which I think Mika Hakkinen took his maiden victory) happened ten years ago next week in Jerez?

I felt old 3 years ago when it was 10 years since the deaths of Senna and Ratzenberg.

I remember when Villeneuve was closing in on Schumacher and my dad was saying "you just watch, he's going to try take Villeneuve off." and would you believe it? He did!!

It really does feel weird that it's 10 years since this happened, and it's coming up to 10 years since F1 cars were made narrower. It'll also be 20 years next year since I saw an F1 race for the first time.

Well I wasnt a fan of F1, until the '98 season, but I was watching it with my brother & it was a great battle!

Yep us old fogie's still have alittle memory left and that battle seem's it was fought in a time long forgotten but I'm not old!!
