I said I do not know the exact fuel amount but I know it was low fuel. The fuel amount is not discrete. Obviously no observer can give the exact amount during a run maybe after the run when the car is weighed, but you don't have to be Einstein to know the fuel was low by looking at the times that were set previously.

Your argument is that you want to standardize and correct the track times according to exact temperature, exact humidity, exact fuel load, tyre wear and such before two drivers are compared. I have no problem with that, do that if you want. You might even see that Jenson ends up in a worse position when you take in all those considerations . All I want to know if the run was a "Glory lap" and there is similar temperature and weather and If Jenson is in front then I will do all the adjustments.

There's no real varibles in Athletics is there think about it?

Humidity, track hardness, wind speed, wind direction, weather, temperature, reaction time, altitude, time of year. That is just the variables of the environment. Then we can get in he muscle and bone system of the sprinter; It's very technical. It is the formula 1 of athletics.

I know that this is/was being discussed elsewhere lets try and keep it civil this time

I am going to bring some data into this, here are the test results. They have some of the variables you were talking about. You can read the details on the mclaren website. The two drivers had similar programs; you can tell by the times. If you take variables into account Lewis should be at the disadvantage. The only thing unknown is fuel load, but as I said before the programs for the drivers should be similar.

Who says a low fuel run has to be in there also we don't know the track temp At the time of the lap, or even the most important factor was it fresh rubber.

Jenson might of had a low fuel run on used rubber then all your data is pointless.

You might not even know if they bring upgrades they might of stuck upgrades on Lewis's car on the saturday for his run your don't know so stop acting like you do.

Second off, you [ram] missed my point, its testing and the times are really not worth much- its about data, feedback from the car, setting up, drivers getting used to the new cars etc.

You seem to want to demand and use this as evidence that Lewis is "winning", my analogy with the Ferrari's topping time in Valencia was to try and point out to you that these times don't just suddenly become significant as soon as Hamilton comes top. If you want to say who out of Jenson and Lewis is better at this stage you should try and find out whose feedback is more helpful to developing and making the car faster.

True, but then you have to factor in that Lewis had been with McLaren for a while at that point. It's really like comparing apples and oranges.
