Why the Virgin Hate?

I'd Kinda perfer Virgin as its own entity rather than some Malaysian's trying to piggyback on somthing that was special, unique and British.

In Malaysia its even called the 1Malaysia F1 Team.

Best of luck to them but this Whole FIA entry process was the biggest load of bullpoo ever.

They basicly just binned all the non-cosworth entries.

Virgin V Lotus battle... Remember the pact Fernandes and Branson had, whoever gets the least points will have to dress up as a stewardess on the rivals airline.

The front wing is very well developed compared to Virgins.. I guess wind tunnel models are better for that than CFD. Newey said CFD only designs wont succeed

The Virgin has done no 14ish laps the Lotus has done 0 lets see what happens in the testing.

Ditto. Actually I'm not keen on anything but the livery. The whole car is very square and block-like.

None the less Lotus vs Virgin will be an interesting little duel. Just to note. Super Aguri's best result in their first race was 10th at the very last race at Brazil. So with this years points going down to 10th, there's every chance we could see some points from the newcomers. Not to mention both teams have notably better drivers than Super Aguri did.

I feel there's 2 schools going on right now... the 'flow-y' guys add the 'square-y' guys. Mclaren is flowy, Lotus is squarey.
Regardless, i really like the Lotus. It looks simple (because it is so angular) and aggressive; and the livery is very nice.

I'm digging the BRG aswell as the overall look of the car but man that front wing looks like a UFO , I wish them all the best though .

Looking forward to seeing what happens with Lotus at their first test ... like the colour but not sure about how boxy it seems in comparison to the flowing lines on a lot of this years cars.
