the thing is every company has to do recall on cars at some point. it is just unfortunate that this is at the end of a recession and other car companies have jumped on it to destroy Toyota's name

The Toyota brand wasn't exactly blue chip in my book anyway.

I always thought the fact that Toyota was the number one carmaker was a sad reflection on the state of mankind. Only Toyota I really like is the Celica. The current range elicits little more than a big fat "meh".

The Celica is alright but its pretty average compared to other Coupe's like the 350z, RX8, TT or even the Hyundai.

I drove the Celica and its alright and everything but its not wear near as good as the TT, RX8, Brera or 350z i mean for one its Front Wheel Drive.

Its not fair to even include the Celica since they've stopped making them.

If you look at Toyota's Lineup its Tree Hugger, Mundane, School Run, 4X4 or Red Neck.

I and other Toyota loyalist are very unhappy and disappointed that they have no true sports car in their lineup. :(

It's a styling thing. Those are all great cars, but the Celica looked a lot more interesting than most of them. Then they stopped making it. :banghead:
