Talk to me...which is better?

I want to get back into gaming, especially racing games, and although GT5 and F1 2007 could swing in the PS3s favour, the XBox is cheaper and has more titles in its arsenal.

Well I heard that the PS3 will be slashing its prices over here by €200, maybe a cut in price over in England too...

I'll pick the PS3 simply it has the better racing games and my G25 can be the main beneficiary.

PS3 is better in nearly every way. But I'm still waiting to see who will be the winner in the HD DVD/Blue Ray battle. And ofcourse untill I can afford a FULL HD telly too, hopefully that may not be too long either

I've only gone and bought one...

Couldn't resist this PS3 deal from Amazon. Two games, a free HDMI cable, and the all important 60GB PS3 for £353 delivered!

The girlfriend is going to kill me, but I hope allowing her to play on Formula One Championship Edition will soften the blow, for me! Will let you know how I get on.

I have both consoles and have always favoured Sony. PS3 is fantastic, however, at the moment online gaming and interaction with online gamers is much better on Xbox. Hopefully when PS3 get Home up and running the situation may change............only time will tell and I'm waiting with anticipation

PS3 for driving games, 360 for FPS is my opinion from owning both (yes I know I should get out more).

Um there is already a GT5???? I play nothing but racing game's and yes I'm out of touch!!

GT5 is due for release in Europe 28/03/08 (GTAIV about 3 weeks after that).

the GT series is awful, it's not a driving simulator! it's like driving on ice, you have no feeling with the car! the real simulators are just on PC, i think Playstation and xbox are just for arcade games...

There is a GT HD demo out, the graphics are stunning, and the playability is better than the earlier versions IMHO. I can't wait till the new year and for a better range of PS3 games to be available, along with PlayTV, the TV tuner for the console which allows you to record and pause live tv.

Yeah but the problem is if you want the F1 Video series it wont be available for Sony any more seeing as they decided not to renew their contract
