If any of you noticed that Toro Rosso and Red Bull share alot of stuff together including test drivers...

It surely is the same as having one team, like said before about the 3man team they have a 4man team :|

They did it in 2009 also...

Well, it is apparently not allowed to an extent cause they have to design their own car from now on (including the current 2010 car)...

One thing I always seem to wonder about when it comes to ferrari wanting a 3rd car. have they ever considered or may be thinking about maybe having a B team?. the grid seems rather full now anyway. what does the rules say?

A B team is great, like in football and a reserve team, a team to fll with potential. So I guess red Bull do get some good out of it, or should do.
I guess it is good for 2 other drivers aswell.
And 2 more racers in F1, more racing, good for fans.
So I'll turn a blind eye!

Why can Virgin test their car in Silverstone? I don't give a damn because they'll most likely be nowhere this season, but still, why ?

it wasnt a test it was just a shake down - just to make sure it was put together properly

 It's specifically allowed in the rules and so far almost every team has done one. Brawn GP launched the car at their one last year. It's common practice.

I'm pretty sure teams are allowed to arrange tests at any FIA-sanctioned circuit. In previous years, we've seen them test at Bahrain and Portimao in addition to the regulars of Barcelona and Jerez.
