Its unprofessional to have BMW still in the name. Can they not get it changed or is there some silly fee to have the BMW part of the name removed.

Can anybody explain how the name makes a difference in trying to get the money out of Bernie for last year?

Clearly I understand that Brawn never got their money because of a change of name and ownership, but does that mean that Mercedes are foregoing all the prize money from Brawn winning the championship? If so, then shouldn't their numbers be at the bottom of the queue like Brawn last year as well rather than getting 3 and 4 based on Brawn's performance?

It would seem very unfair if Sauber didn't get what they earned last year. Or is it the fact that they didn't sign the Concorde agreement and Brawn did?

Your allowed a "free" name change every 5 years i belive.

So Honda to Brawn lost the money because Honda used their name change going from BAR to Honda.

But Brawn to got special dispensation, potentialy because they are a "new team"

The team will continue to receive payments based on its historical performance. This has been granted on a one-off exceptional basis due to Mercedes-Benzs long-term involvement and commitment to Formula One.

With Sauber though i think since they changed only 4 years ago i think they loose TVmoney if they change again.

Also they signed the concorde agrement under the name BMW Sauber so i think that might have somthing to do with it also.

I assume in 2011 it will be Sauber-Ferrari.

The BMW Sauber Ferrari Honda Slot Mag Deluxe Super Carry Exceed Turbo thing is really irritating! I get annoyed with stuff like Vodafone McLaren Mercedes too. The teams should be called, McLaren, Ferrari, Renault, Red Bull, Mercedes, Sauber etc. imo. Sponsors getting in on the name is just plain annoying. We might as well have teams like E.A.D.S. Zapak Medion Mobile Kingfisher Premium Royal Challenge Signature Reebok Bubblemint White & Mackay Scotch Whisky Airbus Force India Mercedes Benz
