Are Virgin joining in the tests tomorrow then, or just releasing their car elsewhere?

I heard they're going to do the "Greased Lightning" with Branson trying to do his best impersonation of John Travolta.

Heyyy!!!!!

[McLaren]

so the Ferrari is half a second faster than the Mclaren if there on the same fuel?

jeez.

Maybe. We don't know that for sure. Ferrari could be running slightly less, McLaren could be focusing on different areas...It's impossible to judge.

Well LH said the 25 is better than the 24 last year, said they can still improve

But was catious about saying its a title contender.

at the end of the day if what Allen says is correct and there is half a sec in it, we might be able to make inroads to that before March.

See how JB and FA do tommrow.

Hope JB is around or Faster than LH's time.

Yeah, half a second is not a huge deal. McLaren's mighty design department can probably squeeze that down by the end of testing. Possible torpedo on the horizon though - Ferrari's B-Spec, with it's Secret Weapon Diffuser, could be a threat.

True and then there's Alonso's 0.6sec

Will be interesting to see what he does tomoz for sure. The next test will be very interesting with most teams probly going for it a bit more.

[Jensonb]

Oh you're mean

On that note though, maybe he already gave them the 0.6, without even driving it? That means McLaren are faster by default

Could be.

Perhaps he's so good now that he can actualy give 1sec.

Or Perhaps alonso gave them the Diffuser!, can you imagine the design meeting?

Aldo Costa: "so de diffua' 'ow do we makita' betta'?
Alonso "justa makit 'a bigga' "
Domenicali " Brillianti' Brillianti' hey massa why canta' you think of deez ideas?
Massa "hey i thoghta' de traffic lights on de' pit stoppa' "
Alonso "6tenths"
Massa "shudupa your face a' "

All those various Latin temperaments in one room...Sounds dangerous to me

[7UpJordan]

I wonder where Alonso keeps those six tenths when he's not near an F1 car/track/factory? I can imagine he goes up to the ladies and uses "I've got six tenths in my pocket" as some kind of chat-up line.

*cue premature ejaculation jokes*

[Gaz]

The 6tenths is not somthing you can see, or touch its in Alfonos's "aura"

he just walks up to the engineer's and goes "VAMOS!" and there like "ok we understand" and the car is then made around 6tenths faster.

No, it's less mystical than that, he just has the ability to modify the F1 computer timing systems via an implant in his brain.

[iFuel]

I don't want to get worried... but I'm not being able to avoid it

I hope they are just cheking again and again to avoid the 2009 situation..

So that's how he got pole at Hungary last year.

[scotty]

I never noticed that bulge near the exhausts before... not so sleek then.

There is absolutely no way that McLaren will be as crap as the last one was at this stage, it's nigh on impossible! So you lot shouldn't worry yourselves.

Lewis says the car is not fundamentally bad, he seems pretty happy with it in fact. It's not a big deal yet.

"You can do it when you B&Q it."
