Toyota technically ought to be getting raked over the coals by both the FiA and FOM. And yet nothing more has been heard of it. It's a lot like the Bridgestone pullout - the F1 elite have opted for silence. No news is good news? Not in F1.

The likelihood is thus: The powers that be are scared to properly punish Toyota for fear that they may need to entice them back one day.
