Come on, skeptics were saying that last year when McLaren had no pace and Red Bull were going quick guns in the first test.

I'm hoping that the Red Bull will be up there, to keep the rivalry happening between my 2 favourite sons, Hamilton and Vettel.

I don't think you can put too much on the first tests, but last year certainly showed a trend that continued through the season.

You could do 1000 laps in 3 days across two cars, set the fastest time, but its only one lap. There's 19 races of ~60 laps that will truly show the car's pace.

Paffet currently fastest on a 1:14.359 with De la Rosa behind on 1:14.898. It has begun.

Yeah you can't read too much into the first test, but I think collating the times for the next three days should give us some useful info.
