Loving the Sauber! Front wing looks very developed tbh. Really wasn't expecting this car to be that advanced. Looks much more developed than the Ferrari. And i really really like the carbonfibre/white thing that they have going on.

I take it they will have sponsors soon? As they seem to have, well none. Apart from Bridgestone (which every team has to have, right?)

Yeah, Newey put them on the Red Bull at the start of '08, so they're not new and some teams still don't run them out of choice...

The most important single aero part is the front wing on these cars.

But it hasn't worked out yet. I wonder why should it work out now

Well.. they work more now due to the new rear wing... its sole purpose is to keep the back end straight. They're going to start using them in Le Mans too.

And as for the front wing of the sauber.... it looks almost identical to the one they used at the end of last year.

I think it might be because of the cars being longer, and something to with aero stability.

Fins seem to work for some teams, and not for others. But we've only seen two cars from 4 using them so far. How many more there are remains to be seen.

Remember though, Ferrari did use a fin during 2008.

Ah, but in Ferrari's case Raikkonen ended up going back to the regular style engine cover and actually being faster, as supposedly these fins can promote understeer.

It's great, although I have one complaint. At the tip of the nose, and where the front wing is joined to the nose, there is too much yellow. It could do with just a little bit of black to break it up. But aside from that, wow. It's been too long since those colours have been in the sport. Just a shame it's not with the team I loved :(
