It's long but it also has a narrow body which is good for aero efficiency. The Ferrari looks really under developed compared to the McLaren I really wasn't expecting it to be so far advanced just look how complex that front wing arrangement is and the sculpturing of the engine cover.
[edit]
just to show how narrow it is

Remember "competitive animals know no limits"
On first glance i thought 'this makes that Ferrari look a year old already', but there's more similarities on closer inspection (been sat comparing for the last 15 minutes at least). The McLaren is essentially just more sculpted around the back end and has a more complex front wing arrangement. Looks fast though... Also i dunno if it's just the pictures but that 2010 McLaren has a loooooong wheelbase...

That front wing as actually way more developed...
Although thinner body doesn't automatically mean it's more efficient, cause of the airflow off the front wing and tyres, and then the exposed rear suspension. Also see the detail where the mirrors are and over the top of the sidepods. I think Ferrari have tried to get as much of the weight in the centre of the car as possible (going by the side pods and exhaust location). Argh, bring on Bahrain already!
