Its what the sport desperatey needs but those "mighty ones" have very thick skin. if they didnt go despite loosing a civil court case then their corruption and witch hunting would become worse.

Let's find a way of relieving McLaren of burden of starting a corruption investigation of FIA. In the U.S. sports are not immune from civil, legal proceedings or political intervention in the forum of a House or Senate investigation. The trick is, you have to subpoena Bernie Ecclestone, Max Mosley and other top FIA officials in a legal setting. If they Lie, that is perjury, and when the truth comes out, it's the beginning of the end. F1 team owners need to reclaim destiny of sport, including commercial rights. Go to web site http://www.grandprix.com and read "The Funding Of The Sport". I have been F1 fan since 1970, but the corruption in F1 this year is repulsive. Bernie and Max are British citizens, find a way in the UK to get investigations started, Jackie Stewart and the sport of F1 deserves better.

The sport has been corrupt for a long time, the only difference is that the FIA are in 'get even' mode for Dennis having the audacity to suggest a break-away series.

You only have to look at Alonso's penalty last season at Monza to know there is a whole lorry load of corruption in the sport we love.

Thats right. The break away series was an attempt to bypass the corrupt FIA and set up a new system run by the racing teams. It almost worked but Ferrari(I think they were the only one but not sure on that) would not agree to it. It had to be unanimous. Ron led this and is therefore hated by the corrupt officials. It needs to be instigated this time by someone less directly involved at present. Someone like Jackie Stewart or Sterling Moss or Damon Hill, People who are passionate about the sport and restoring its integrity. I realise those names I mentioned are British, I mentioned them because I know about them and how they feel about what is happenning to F1. Im sure there are many more representatives of the sport who feel the same from other nationalities as well.

Yup the FIA have long memories, and bear grudges to the amount of $100,000,000 it seems!

The message was clear to Ron - "Dont F__K with us!"

I hear they had a concrete freeway overpass pillar picked out for Ron! One close to Jimmy Hoffa it seems!
