Loosk like prodrive may not have a car for the start of the year.

Been looking through historic f1 photos as well, there used to be a lot more cars than now. is this a safety or money thing.

Always supprises me that other big companies like ford, lambighini (spelling), maybe zonda etc dont try and enter. could make it very interesting.

Mosley and his crew wont be happy with more than 22 cars. So its probs something to do with safety.
But yes i think big companies should come in. It would make it good fun. even more

yeah...cos Ferrari are in it

maybe with the current 11 teams, we could have: Lamborigihi (12) Maserti (13) Porchuse (14), Bugetti (15), Aston Martin (16) & maybe even Alfa romeo (17) that'll mean 34 cars in total, but with that they'll have to expand the the points range, i'd suggest something like this:

1st - 20
2nd - 16
3rd - 12
4th - 11
5th - 10
6th - 9
7th - 8
8th - 7
9th - 6
10th - 5
11th - 4
12th - 3
13th - 2
14th - 1

Money I think. Car used to be much simpler before. Easier to design and make. Cheaper. And they could even have 6 wheels

ford did try with Jaguar recently... with very modest results. Lambi and Zonta... exclusive but not really that big. You DO need someone like BMW, Renault, Merc... Fiat... to support you. I don't think even Ferrari would be anywhere if there's no Fiat behind them. And I did like that MS Multipla commercial :)
