Alesi now has some extra time on his hands;
Three days ago, Amato Ferrari told us wanting to engage two or three Ferrari F430 in Le Mans Series, one for Jean Alesi. Finally, there will be two F430 committed, just as we confirm directly the owner of AF Corse: "The entries for the Le Mans Series are now closed and we have two cars, one for the pair Bruni / Melo and the second for Perez-Companc/Russo. Jean (Alesi) will ultimately not in the game.

Hmmmm..... coincidence? :P

de la Rosa does not deserve the seat. He only replaced Montoya after NASCAR was more appealing for him and yes he got a podium in that crazy Hungary race but that's not enough to get a race seat 4 years after his last drive.

Formula 1 is turning into a class reunion :rofl:
Next, we'll hear that Jacques Villeneuve will be joining USF1!!!
All the old heads from 2006 will try and come back now like Wurz and Ralph S....etc.
My 2006 comeback dark horse is Anthony Davidson imo.

I heard Jean Alesi is on the verge of following in Schumacher's footsteps and joining the over 40's brigade and signing for Renault.

Made you look! :P

Well after doing this, I'm pretty sure he thinks he can! :hehe:

Rosa? No way :yikes:
That is crazy man. But i think he is a good driver to be fair. He has the talent and has always done well for McLaren :thumbup:

So congrats :thumbup:

The Pink Woollen one gets it then. The grid's definitely going to look different this year with a nice mix of new, old and very old, should be interesting. I just hope Heidfeld gets a seat.

With that in mind, Peter Sauber should get Pink Panther sponsorship for Pedro's car. :P

It's his name for life. I might write to the Beeb and ask Martin Brundle to use it during commentary :scratchchin:

Yes! i would become a huge PPW fan if Brundle did that.

I'd buy a PPW t-shirt and everything.

PPW t-shirts, now there's an idea....
