I am planning a European road trip for this summer, but I can not decide where to spend a night.

the plan so far is

Day 1

UK to Kehlsteinhaus, Germany (Eagles Nest, it is somewhere I have always wanted to go. Especially after seeing the area on Band Of Brothers)

Day 2

Look around the Eagles Nest

Day 3

this is where I have an issue, it is going to be a travelling day, that I want to include Stelvio Pass but where to end up in that direction? CERN did cross my mind but her indoors might not be so impressed with that idea, anyone know anywhere good in that sort of direction?!?!

Day 4

look around somewhere that day ends up at

Day 5

Travel to Disney Land Paris.... yes I know but without it she has refused to go.

Day 6

Disney "rip off" Land

Day 7

Back to the UK

If you are going to Germany, why not take in the 'Ring? Even if you don't drive it, there's normally some awesome machinery kicking around! We also tend to stop off in Bruges because it's really pretty and is a good pit-stop between the 'Ring and the ferry.

Might be worth having a look at the PetrolHead Nirvana tours for inspiration? They are way too hardcore for me, but provide some interesting routes and ideas.

your right they do look a bit hard core lol. I don't think she would ever talk to me again if I went anywhere near the 'ring with her as I would not be able to not have a go

Depends where you go. If you go where I live it would be boring
Your continent has much more history than the United States, which is one of the reasons why I love Europe
