Ok my team (Sporting, from Portugal) won their match on the Carlsberg Cup, which is equivalent to the english Carling Cup, but with the most crappy format you could ever imagine

There are 32 teams in the professional leagues, which would make a perfect pure knockout competition. Instead, there are endless group stages, with non-sensical tie-break rules like "lower medium age" :facepalm:

Manchester United getting knocked out by Leeds in the 3rd round did make my day... I really can't stand Manchester United and that scotch git Alex Ferguson!

Nothing against Scottish people but Alex Ferguson really gets on my nerves.

Why? he's a legendary Manager.

I just don't like him, he rubs me up the wrong way, his attitude sucks in my opinion, every time his team loses its the fault of the officials or some other lame excuse.

And I dislike Manchester United with a vengeance being a Liverpool supporter n'all...

After getting back from the states I only wish we put a show on like the americans do before our games.The tailgate party was awesome live band,beer tent,charger girls,bbq's and games live on big screens.

Simply a great event it would be worth going to if there wasn't a game,let alone when your team comes back and wins in the dying seconds.Can't wait to go back next year
