Scuderia Ferrari driver Felipe Massa declared at the Wroom ski event that he is already enjoying a great relationship with his new team-mate, Fernando Alonso. The Brazilian dismissed the rumours that there would be tension between him and the double World Champion and added that he already has a better band with Fernando than he had with Kimi Raikkonen.

Massa said: "Things have started extremely well. We've already started to speak a lot about the car and what to do to have a competitive car.

"I've spoken more to Fernando now than in three years with Kimi. Perhaps this was not difficult because Kimi of course did not like to speak much, but I also worked extremely well with Kimi, even without speaking. So it was fine. I think we can have a very good relationship and we can work extremely well together."

I find this kinda funny, how can you talk more to your new team mate in a matter of days than you did in 3 years with another? Kimi must be more than quite with just the media.

Funny enough I can see fireworks starting with Vettel/Webber before Alonso/Massa. We could even see the Button/Hamilton mix producing some displays. :twisted:

Have people seen/ read the bbc interviews? Massa and ALonso both seem to be taking pains to start of a a good footing.

First 100 pages are just pure gold, nothing short of amazing - for me. After that too much talk about all the races in 2007. If he would've waited until 2009, then he had a championship and also a year where he was on the back of the grid for the first half of the season.

Agreed. Vettel and Webber don't seem like the type. Button and Hamilton could have a few moments I suppose but I don't see it being anywhere near as bad as Hamilton and Alonso were in 2007.

Massa and Alonso are bound to have a tempestuous relationship, I'm just waiting for it to flare up and entertain me.
