Never before can I recall a driver crapping on his team as much as Alonso has. And remember he did the same at Renault last year when Ferrari/Schumacher/FIA(t) put the squeeze on him at the back end of the season.

Let's face it, the Spaniards are desperate for a hero. He could be a hero of making puddings, or a hero of putting your socks on in the morning. They need a hero. When was the last time the Spaniards had a hero? Perhaps it was a crustacean that crawled out of the primeval ooze and contributed to the evolution of mammals by developing the facility of farting. If we simply view Alonso as the culmination of the Iberian contribution to humanity... a mollusk who can now drive a car and create a bad smell wherever he goes, we can perhaps try to view him as simply an unfortunate fact of life.

Spain is the only country in Europe I have never bothered to visit. I even went to France once! I've been to the northernmost point of Norway and the southernmost point of Turkey. I have crossed the Bosphorus, been through Africa and lived in America. I am a man of temperate disposition but the incontinent drivel of the Spaniards on this forum, the bald faced refusal to acknowledge facts, as plain as day to any sentient organism, leaves me no other recourse than to assume they are functionally deficient in the area of critical discrimination of fact from fiction. Perhaps suggesting that they are molluscs was a little harsh. If I offended any sea creatures, I apologise.
