Problem with Silverstone is that i have been to watch pretty much everything but F1 (F3, GT's, WSR, BSB etc!) and it just wouldn't be a "new" place if you see what i mean! I heard Singapore was good but again it would cost a fair old lot!

spa is great and Germany and Italy.
you will have a great time at any of them

you could go to barcelona and stay in lloret or santa susanna ( we stayed there last year) in the grand casino lloret for 5 nights flight and all inclusive hotel for £123.50 its was a dump but it was cheap.... takes a little over an hour to get to the course from there.....
once at the course they wont let you in with your beer unless its in a plastic bottle or unless your spanish... ... it was 16 euro`s for a large beer in the course. . and the race is a bore .... but its a cheap trip

Hmm I'd be careful with Barcelona, you'll probably fall asleep during the race, like many people probably do almost every Spanish GP at Catalunya.

I would chose either Spa or Silverstone, both great tracks and Silverstone has a very good atmosphere.

Wow now that is cheap!! Yeah but its worth whilst fior a cheapey weekend really isn't it! Where abotus did you guys sit then? Sounds like the Race of Champions the other year, no cans

Any first time visit to an F1 race is amazing so, go to any.
Start at what some people say is less good, then build up and u can get more excited each time

Quite a few years ago I did watch the Monaco GP while my yacht was moored alongside. I found the experience useless and gave up and went below to watch it on television!

hockenheim old circuit would have been great back in the late 70's early 80's in the forrest area
Spa would have been exciting in 1998, imagine if the accident happened a few yards up at eau rouge?
