another one,

A Women went to visit her bank manager and she took her young daughter with her. The bank manager said that the woman's daughter could stay with his secretary during the meeting. When the woman and her daughter left, the secretary turned to the other secretary and said to her "That little girl was my daughter, 'how could that be ?'

this is hard.

The secretary was a man who was the little girl's farther.

ye, lol i think some people cheat when typing it on google

No, I diddn't cheat, it had me stumped at first until I read it carefully (ie trying to break it down rather than the usual skim reading that people do) and realised the "her" references were near but not referring to the sectary.

Its from all the calculations I do in school, you get a knack of picking up the important bits and ignoring the rest, and in riddles they use the "rest" to try and distort the important parts that reveal the answer.

This is pretty easy:

"A dead man is found in a locked room, hanging from the ceiling 4 ft. above the floor. The room is completely empty, except for a puddle of water below him. How did he die?"

The puddle was formed by water dripping from above, the man was hanging there opened his mouth, diddn't sallow and drowned.

Either that or he hanged himself normally and the puddle of water is just part of the scenery.

Alex got it.

And crosswing googled it! (the fact that you used the same wording as the official answer kinda gave it away :P )

This isn't really much of a riddle... but here goes;

"I just invented a super-acid which will burn through absolutely anything"
"Wow! Can you demonstrate it for me?"
"Sure, I'll go to the lab and put some in a container and bring it back with me."
"You liar! You can't have invented anything!"

If it will burn through anything, it would burn through any container...
