Given the amount of abuse I have to suffer from them because they weren't looking where they were going, it evens things out. Trust me.Denthúl wrote:And they act like they're doing you a favor.suitcase wrote:Or they stand in the middle of an aisle when browsing and you can't get past them and their bags! I encountered this one (rather large) lady who I couldn't pass in the store. "Excuse me," I said. She ignored me. "Pardon me, ma'am, but I would like to get past." She screwed up her face and reluctantly moved out of the way. The slow walkers were just as bad. I agree, it's frustrating. I work in a school and the children walk at a snail's pace, often looking behind them instead of where they're going. I've been carrying equipment and all too often they walk head-first in to a printer or something. I laugh inside. Anyways, I digress.Denthúl wrote:I hate how people can't drive when they go shopping, and then they walk at the speed of a turtle while they are shopping. I am a fast walker, but seriously? Why do people walk like that?!suitcase wrote:And then you step on a light or something, because they weren't wrapped around the thing in the first place. Really, trees are the one thing I truly despise about Christmas. Other than the fact people make it in to a meaningless thing. Not that it means much to me in the first place, silly heathen I am.Denthúl wrote: I want to walk past my table, I have to catch the tree that I've just brushed past. Am I a horrible person for giggling at the image of a child walking face first into a printer? One of them walked in to my colleague about a month ago and was like, "what the f*** do you think you're doing?". This from a child who was walking backwards down a corridor. He then proceeded to threaten to kill my colleague. We thought it was hilarious - he kept appearing at our office door during the day and staring in. I couldn't stop myself laughing.
How old are these kids, anyway?
and flirty students.
