Which team have performed the best this season?

This can either be by winning, or by exceeding expectations.

Or by not cheating.

(It didn't allow me enough options to include Toyota! Ah well...)

BMW started to fight with renault but got faster and if a bmw gets in front of the front runners they rarly make a pass

Spyker made some vast improvments since Monza and Sutil has brought the team forward...

Spyker mad ethe biggest forward stride by virtue of the greates decision of all the teams in firing Albers. Move of the year.

McLaren. They managed to turn around a woefully 2006 season and produce the best car of the season. Then, factor in the outside and internal problems, which threatened to tear the team apart, and you can really appreciate what a good job the team as a whole has done.

I'd say BMW, as last season progressed they started to improve a lot and this year they've more than carried on from where they left off, easily proven to be the best of the rest, even though in the past few races they've been given a run for their money by the likes of Williams who've had a much better season and will be looking to make the similar kind of jump next season BMW had.

McLaren - The have won the WCC and probably the WDC, though Ferrari and the FIA(t) gave the WCC to an undeserving team.

Yes they did win the WCC

Unfortunately McLaren (unlike Ferrari) dont have any employees of theirs on the FIA to rig things.....but indeed McLaren won the WCC

I have to say Mclaren was the team of the year. I am nneither a Mclaren fan nor a Lewis fan... but they had the fastest car in 08, the best consistency and the best driver lineup.

How this progress came to be, be it from Alonso or from Ferrari, I dont care. Ferrari claims it was from them, Alonso claims some credit too... so even if maybe some from both is true, it still doesn't take away from what they achieved.
