1 : a searching out for persecution of persons accused of witchcraft 2 : the searching out and deliberate harassment of those (as political opponents) with unpopular views

McLaren got caught and punished

Alonso got caught and nothing was done

Ferrari were caught (floors) and nothing was done

Dont make a whole lot of sense.

As you well know words and saying have a way of changing their meanings over the years

Ron is the victim of an FIA witch hunt, they never forgave him for being the ringleader of disgruntled constructors who threatened to break away and form their own series. The double standards and disparity shown by the FIA is clear for all to see. They want Ron and they have him by the balls right now…..and twisting hard.

So whilst you think not, it is a witch hunt

^^Hmm, maybe it was the fact he was the one supposly putting Ferrari info onto the car, which cost the entire team the championship, or maybe it was that he apparently was blackmailing Ron Dennis, his own boss. The boss of the whole team.

Maybe. But much as I remember, story about blackmailing ended with RD going pre-emptive with MM (before FA could make more damage). However, later on it came out BE was the one to tip MM. At the end of the day, I still don't know what really happened. Have I missed something?
